We picked up Pearl in Fort Worth in January. Our teen boys have been asking for a dog, and PROMISING to care for it for years, but we were fostering kiddos for the past 8 years. After we adopted our foster son in December, we agreed to take in a dog with the assurance that our sons would care for it. Alas, that promise was not fulfilled, and my wife and I spend too much time working and caring for our 2 year old adopted son to work with a pup.
Pearl is 5 months old. She is very friendly, very energetic, and very smart. She's doing well being crate trained, but still has occasional accidents. She is learning sit and lie down well, and chases just about anything you throw and will return with it. She's still a pup, so she chews on anything she can, including your hand. She isn't aggressive, but she does think your hand can be a chewtoy. We are still working on that.
She comes with plenty of food, crate, pet carrier, and chew toys. We want Pearl to have the kind of home she deserves.
