My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Louie is a sweet and lazy hound mix. He is estimated to be between 2-5 years. He is up to date on all shots, microchipped, on heartworm/flea meds, and is currently intact but has a neuter appointment in late May. He is super calm, does not bother our cat, is fine around young children, does well in his crate all night and does not bark or whine (haven't heard a peep from him!). We do not have a fenced yard but he does great staying nearby! Needs help with potty training but he has been doing pretty well so far - just a few accidents.

We adopted him a shelter and decided he is not the right fit for our active family but we want to find him a loving home! He is a GREAT dog, but we have young kids who want to PLAY and be very active with walks and hikes and this guy just wants to laze around! He is very gentle - he won't even eat treats out of our hand. He will occasionally jump a bit when very excited but we have no concerns with him around our small children (2&5).
