Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Soup is a magnificent adult male Tuxedo kitty who was brought to the HSOV on January 15, 2021 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden along with several other cats and dogs who had shared the same home . They have been in safe-keeping care in our shelter since January 15th (pending a court case) and became the property of HSOV on April 22, 2021 .. So Soup and his friends are now technically available for adoption or rescue through HSOV.
The photos which are being posted were taken on January 16, 2021 shortly after their intake procedures.
Soup has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a tiny white stripe on his forehead, a white 'goatee', and long white 'eyebrows' and whiskers.
Soup has a friendly personality and was a pleasure to photograph as he posed like a fine porcelain kitty statue at the front of his cage.
Soup was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on January 16, 2021. He was also combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Soup weighed 8 lbs that day. He was given booster vaccines on February 5, 2021.
Soup was neutered on May 18, 2021 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 9 lbs that day. Soup is now available for adoption and also for rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
UPDATE: We've learned that Soup does NOT get along with other male cats after he was introduced in our HSOV Free-Roaming Room. So he is looking for home that he does not have to share with other male cats .. Or possibly he would be better suited to a home where he could be an only child.
