Meet Murphy aka Murdock. Murdock is believed to be a 3-4 year old bully mix. He is a possible Boxer/Pitbull/Boston Terrier Bulldog mastiff mix??? When rescued by a AMAZING lady 2 months ago he was 30 pounds, heartworm positive, and his skin and coat were in deplorable conditions in addition to being covered in scars. Now he is fully vetted, has been heartworm treated, and has received 2 months of training. Weighing in at almost 70 pounds, he is the most AMAZING dog ever. Murdock loves all humans. Everyone he meets is an instant friend. He falls head over heels in love with every person he meets. Immediate love and a strong bonding connection happens. It does not get any better than this sweet boy. Murdock is crate and house trained as well as well leash trained but will required continued training to continue to improve. Murdock also rides perfectly in cars. What an awesome side kick.
Murdock will need a home with a nice fenced-in yard, someone who is home a lot and very social, who can take him on daily walks and continue to sharpen his training skills that he worked so hard to obtain. Murdock is a super star with dogs does not seem to mind cats and any small critter or flocks. Murdock is calm assertive and attentive with the best personality and energy but needs reminded to be nice.
Murdock is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, de-wormed, fecal tested negative, micro-chipped, neutered, and on monthly heart-worm flea/tick prevention.

We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important.
Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.
