Dolly and Miley are the sweetest seven month old sisters.
Dolly is a dilute calico with the most stunning markings and beautiful face. Miley is also a dilute calico, just as beautiful, and sports a cute black dot on her chin. Both girls were found outdoors and were not people friendly yet. Two fosters worked tirelessly to play with them and feed them high value treats so they would warm up to people. Finally Dolly is VERY curious about people. She is actually most interested in fingers and toes and will come poke you with her paw (in a friendly way!) to say hello. You can play back and forth with Dolly this way but she isn't willing to accept pets yet. Miley loves being petted, but only while she eats. Both girls will take treats out of your hand and they love playing with the cat dancer toy.
An adults only home would be ideal for these girls. If children are in the home, we advise only older, respectful children who are taught gentle treatment. Our foster advises against dogs; and also shares that the girls interacted well with two other cats in the home, while hissing at others. A slow and proper introduction would be suggested.
Dolly and Miley are worth the time! In a new home with some time and attention, they will likely feel much more comfortable. It is so rewarding to help cats move from fearful cats to happy ones eager to spend time with you. All animals are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed and have all necessary shots. They are ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $125.00.
