My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wayne is shy and quiet soul. He's not skittish, just very reserved. He is still getting used to his new "home" and that accounts for the ruffled fur in the pics. He had just woken up and looked at me like, "Lady, I'm still groggy. Why are you taking my pictures? Can I get just 5 more minutes on the snooze alarm?"

Wayne is approximately 2.5 months old. He's a black variberk with standard ears. He's a homebody and I think that he will bond very strongly with his new owners.

Wayne is still a bit too small for a neuter. He is currently still in quarantine and will not be available for a minimum of three weeks from 11/09/09. I am hoping that he will meet the weight requirements for a neuter prior to being adopted out.

The adoption fee for an intact (non neutered / spayed) rat is $10.00. The adoption fee for a spayed or neutered rat is $25.00.
