This adorable little girl is Dovie ... and she is lovie dovie, once she gets to know you!
Dovie is probably a Patterdale Terrier and Whippet mix that's about 1 year old and weighs 15 pounds. We just got Dovie in and she was so nervous and scared, but thankfully, she has warmed up to us. If you sit down in her kennel and let her approach to check you out, she'll then want to crawl up in your lap to give and gets lots of love. Like many dogs that end up at a Rescue, she probably had some traumatic experiences that she's having to deal with ... we will work with her to reassure her that she's safe and loved. We'll have her play with the other dogs and work on her overall confidence.

We have Dovie scheduled for her vaccinations and spay next week.
