My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty is about five years old, 45 pounds, and absolutely perfect. She is great with all of her dog friends, cat friendly, loves children, and has never met a stranger. She was picked up for running loose and we pulled her from the local animal control after she went unclaimed. She is so well behaved and transitioned to foster care easily. She walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, is potty trained, and crate trained. She knows basic commands including sit and sit pretty. You will not find an easier dog than Betty. She is sweet, affectionate, has a moderate energy level, and is well socialized so she could go to the dog park or to any other pet-friendly spaces.

This dog is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and has been treated in our care. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12pm-2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
