Weight: 49 lbs.
Good with dogs: yes
Good with cats: unsure

Special home requirements or medical: active person and a playful dog preferred

Additional info:

Horton is a little shy with new people, but is super easy to win over with treats and toys. Horton is really good with other dogs, but can get a little nervous if a dog comes on too strong but with proper introduction he opens up quickly. He loves to run and play with people and other dogs. If there are people and other dogs around he does prefer to interact with the dog. He is a curious boy and can sometimes be all over the place, but he is super food motivated so is easily trainable. He does cry a for a few minutes when being placed in his crate but settles after a few minutes. He does need some work on leash as he is a strong boy and very eager on walks. Horton would be great for an active person, preferably with another playful dog. We think that He'll be fine in a home with older children.
