Todd is a an approx 1.5 y/o Doxie/Beagle (with some Pug and/or Chi thrown in) mix who weighs approx 15.5#. Other dogs think Todd is the life of the party and he enjoys playing with other friendly dogs so another friendly, playful dog his size is REQUIRED in Todd's new home. Todd hasn't been someone's beloved pet until recently so he's still getting used to human affection. He's not one to make eye contact right away and is slow to warm up to people but does warm up with time and treats. Todd pulls on the leash so needs someone willing and able to work on his leash manners. A secure 6 ft wood fenced in yard is also REQUIRED in Todd's new home. Todd is potty trained but still has an occasional accident if he cannot communicate his need to go outside. Todd would be ok with respectful children over 12 y/o although we wouldn't expect him to interact much with kids esp. at first. He needs some time, love, and patience to come out of his shell and become the loving, silly boy that he is. Todd likes playing with toys and will now approach his foster humans for snuggles and pets. Todd does not love the crate and becomes vocal and anxious when left in it for more than an hour or so. He has not been destructive when allowed to free roam at night or when his foster humans are away. He has not been cat tested but we think he'd chase them if they ran and back off from a dog savvy cat. Todd is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. If interested in meeting Todd, complete our application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Todd's adoption fee is $350 and we are not doing out of state adoptions.
