My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is one of the sweetest most loving bonded pair. These two-gals May and April; suck you right into their world with their eyes, temperament, and loving ways. Both came from South Alabama where a retired veterinarian had taken up their cause and later contacting us after days of receiving a call about two Labradors chasing off deer at a nearby hunting club.
May is a total sweetheart with a larger-than-life personality and affection for everyone and all things! She immediately captures your heart with her sweet gentle eyes and her perky attitude. She loves everyone mean or nice! May is all Labrador, chunky so she can stand some weight loss but extremely loving and playful at 5-6 years of age, 60-70 pounds. She is great with all dogs young and old and feels obligated to kiss all the dogs she meets and people! She truly loves her girl April and looks for her when she isn’t there. She leads and protects her girl and gives her the confidence she needs to trust humans. Although I was told we could possibly split them up I definitely feel they need to go together. They could be a mother and daughter team.
April is shy, quiet, reserved, and once she warms up to you perfectly great just like May. May gives April the support she needs to feel comfortable around humans. Once April understands you mean her no harm, she lets you into her world. April is all Labrador, 4-5 years old, 60-70 pounds, and one beautiful dog! April needs to get settled in a home that will advocate for her so she puts her past behind her once and for all and can enjoy life with care and loving people. It's very obvious she was abused at some point in her life. She gets scared and her entire body trembles when she hears a truck roar. There is no telling what has happened before. I do know she is beyond precious and will open up with TLC.
Both girls have been fully medically vetted, heartworm tested negative on prevention, and will both be microchipped.
