Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet this really porky and hunky dude, Saibo! His name means "Lover" and boy is he ever! He's looking for a forever home and is move in ready. Here's a break down of his do and don't list.
Dogs: Absolutely not. He's will defend is turf and would kill a dog BUT he does not have a prey drive. He's not trying to drag you down the street and he's non reactive to the dogs in the shelter. We just know hes completely anti-dog and even Caesar Milan is never going to change that.
Cats: Uh, ever gonna happen. That species is below him and his opinion is strong.
Leash: He respects it and will take correction easily. He gets a little excited and gets ahead of you but as soon as you correct him and say "Dude, eh eh" he right back to your left side.
Potty Trained: Immaculate. I'll take ten of those please!
Crate Trained: YES. But he's got anxiety. Sometimes he barks and won't shut up, the rest of the time he's great because he's occupied or with his people. He's not hard to figure out and he communicates with you.
Car: Fantastic in the car. He wants to go on Sunday drives but NO cheeseburgers. He's fat and is on a diet. He's eating Science Diet Perfect Weight. He keeps trying to hold out for wet food but he gives in with dry. During the day you can actually find him sunbathing on a dog bed in our van enjoying the day!
Kids: loves children! He's a big boy and though he doesn't guard anything, he could easily knock a little kid over. Erring on the side of caution with live in kids. Lets say 12+ but open to meeting other dog savy kids!
Fenced yard: Not necessary but if an animal comes in while he's on watch, it's not getting out. I'll put $100 on Saibo. :)
Lover Meter: He's a perfect 10. Hugs, kisses, affection. He's a big goof ball sake of lazy love.
