My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaya is a golden retriever mix. She came to us since she was not getting along with one of the dogs in her previous home. She would do best as the only dog in the home. She has been around cats. She has also been around children. She has had some training and knows the basics. She is playful and loving. Kaya has a dysfunctional pancreas. She gets monthly B12 shots and gets pancreatic enzyme powder sprinkled on her food. She requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.

Kaya is 4 years old. Her current weight is around 70 pounds.

The minimum donation for Kaya is $475.00. This includes all of her vetting. If you are interested in Kaya, please fill out an online application through our website.

Then meet her at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm by appointment only. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
