My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mason Largo is about 10 years old and weighs 6 pounds. He was a stray and found himself at animal control in really bad shape with very matted hair, rotten teeth, and underweight. He needs to gain a little weight as his ideal weight would be about 8 pounds. 
 
He had a dental, (that left him with only a few teeth), which made a huge difference in how he feels, which is so much better now. He is happy and is loving meal time, but he is not at all crazy about his dog food right now, so for now we are feeding him like a king,and trying to figure out what he will eat.  Well, that is okay, he deserves some pampering after what he has been through!  He loves to cuddle,and will come to his person when they reach out a hand to him.  It is a bit early to tell, but it seems his hearing may not be what it used to be, but he is not deaf.

He is so very smart, needing just one time to be shown where the door is to go potty outside!!  He is not house trained at this time, but we feel with patience and training he will get the hang of going outside because he is so very smart!
 
Mason Largo gets along nicely with his foster siblings in the home. There are no cats in the home, so it is unknown how he will be around a cat.
 
His pictures show that he had to be shaved down because of the extreme matting, but he will be very handsome when his hair grows back!
 

Mason Largo has been neglected for his whole life, but now he is learning to love life again in Largo, FL until his forever family comes to take him home!
