This pretty little girl came to us after her babies were raised and adopted. Right after being in a long term foster home, she got an ear infection that caused her to become partially blind. We think she can see shadows and figures, as she doesn't bump into things. She is currently in a foster home where she has a room and a nice attached catio to get sunshine and fresh air. We are looking for another similar safe home for her or with a 6' fenced yard that she cannot jump out of. She cannot jump very high and it is doubtful she would even try with her sight limitations. She mostly likes to be left alone, but LOVES her canned kitty food twice a day, and enjoys a soft pet when taking a nap on a bed. She loves other cats and could get used to a mellow dog. She would do best as a cat companion. If you looking for company for a lonely cat, but not a kitty that will be demanding of your attention, please consider giving this sweet girl a forever home. She is spayed and vaccinated and about 3 years old.
We require a meet and greet for pickup of all our adoptions, sorry no transport available. We hold adoption events almost every Saturday at Rescued Treasures Resale Store in Tehachapi from 11-3. If you are seriously interested in adopting, please fill out an application off our website at haveahearthumanesociety.org. On the first page on the lower right corner you will find the applications for cats. All applications are considered in the order they are received.
