Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SUNNY and LUNA.... ADOPTED
Luna and Sunny are beautiful, 3 year old girls that have been with Lone Star for a short time. They are already starting to blossom and show their personalities. Sunny is the lighter yellow girl and weighs about 80 pounds. Luna is the darker yellow girl and weighs about 61 pounds. Luna also has a scar on her face from an old injury that has healed.
Sunny and Luna were found together as strays without ID. Although the girls don't seem to be related, they are clearly bonded to each other. We could probably separate them, but we just don't have the heart to put them through that trauma and anxiety. So we plan to place Sunny and Luna as a pair, at a reduced adoption fee. Please do not ask to adopt one or the other separately.
Sunny and Luna are affectionate, well behaved girls who will make wonderful family companions. They are gentle, calm and well behaved. They would be great for kids as young as 6 or 7 years old. We have not crated them, since they really need to stay together. They are in a big bathroom in their foster home and are perfect guests. They are both house trained. We are looking for a home where they will be loved and spoiled, with a nice back yard and maybe a couple of kiddos to look after. They get along very well with the other dogs they have been introduced to and do not seem very interested in cats.
If you live in the DFW area and are interested in adopting this beautiful pair, please see our web site and read about our adoption process. Our usual adoption fee is $295; however, Sunny and Luna are available for a total adoption fee of $450, plus state tax. Www.lonestarlabrescue.org
