My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This chunk of love is Pip! A beautiful sable bully breed blend, Pip is newly arrived but proving to be a pretty social, affectionate,
and level-headed lass, with occasional outbursts of silly puppy
antics. She looooves attention from people she knows, and when we go
into her kennel she excitedly grabs a toy to squeak and is all wags
and wiggles!
This girl is is quite a “leaner” too, and will sidle up and lean on your leg
given the chance.
She is mastering “sit”, learning her new name, and has lovely leash
manners. She caught some eyes with her mile-wide smile when she made her debut trotting alongside a bike on the pathway this past week. She does enjoy playing with another well-matched canine, too - she’s a pretty rough and tumble kinda girl. Pip is going to make a lovely
canine companion for some lucky adopter!

Adopters will be considered on the totality of the application and how it matches the particular pet's needs.

Please read entire posting for information on our new procedures. We are currently requiring appointments for all adoptions. Please give us a call if you questions about a pet or complete an application at https://adoptmountainpets.org/pet-services/adoption-process/application-form to make arrangements to visit the Animal Resource Center.

Most dogs who come from the shelter will not be house trained.

We do not know or make guarantees that a dog or cat will do well with all children, other animals or is house-trained.

We will need to talk to all of the adults in the home prior to making an appointment to visit with a pet.

In most cases its necessary to to have family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them for a meeting.

All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.

Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
