Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet little Charlie is a 10+ year old male Beagle who was transferred to us from a shelter where he was found as a stray. Charlie arrived in very poor condition, he was underweight, and suffering from a huge tumour on his mouth that covered the one side of his whole muzzle. Charlie has had surgery to remove a golf ball size portion of the tumour which is a slow growing cancer, he also was vaccinated, had his teeth scaled and was placed on a long course of antibiotics. His teeth show he is a senior boy and the shelter estimated 10 years old, but we really don't know.
Charlie is a very sweet dog who has become food obsessed in our care, he really loves his food and will jump up for more. He is good with the other dogs and we are not sure about cats yet. Charlie loves his walks and is a typical nose to the ground Beagle, and its for this reason he will need a secure fenced in yard. He does have a prey drive and will pull on leash to chase a rabbit or squirrel. Charlie is sometimes hand shy when he is not sure in new situations, but we don't know his history so cant explain why. Charlie may have been an outdoor dog has he is not housebroken and does mark indoors, but his upcoming neuter should help and we are currently using belly bands to teach him this is inappropriate. He is also carte trained and loves his crate. He is a perky happy boy who just loves everyone.
Charlie is treated for parasites, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and will be neutered.
