Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clyde is a sweet senior, approximately 10 yrs old Bassett/Beagle mix from SC. When he was found, he was skin and bones living outside with no shelter.
Clyde would love a calm, quite home with people who will spoil him rotten! Due to his low vision, we are not recommending a home with young, active children. He has no issues with people at all- but for his best interest- older, calm kids or a retired family would be the best home for him! He would love kid visitors to love on him! Clyde is very loving and calm. A gentle soul!
Clyde is very healthy. Even with his low vision, he does get around just fine - he just needs some time to learn his surroundings and your routine. Clyde loves to nap and eat :) He is now a healthy weight and he is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Clyde has learned how to use the doggie door at his foster home and goes out on his own and is fully potty trained.
Clyde is very sweet and calm. He loves, loves toys with squeakers and will move like lightening if he hears a squeaker - and then he will take the toy to his bed where he collects his toys, plays and chews them. He does not destroy them- as Clyde is not destructive at all. He does not dig holes in his foster home and just prefers to snack, eat, play with his toys and get love.
Clyde will need a home with a fenced in yard with a family that is not gone for long hours unless he has a doggie door so he can go outside to potty.
