My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caesar is hoping it's finally his time to find a special home. This guy is our longest resident, having come to us a stray in April 2021. That's a long time a waiting for a family to call his own, and he's starting to think it may never happen.

Caesar may be a big dog, but he has a childlike innocence. Like children, he enjoys playing outside with his friends (who he can be selective about), rolling around in the dirt and playing with his toys. But also like some kids, he can be wary of strangers and take time to warm up to new people. We don't know a lot about Caesar's past, but we can assume it was a rough one. We've been working with him since day one, and while he's made big strides, he's still looking for a paitent and consistent home that will continue to help him be the best and happiest Caesar he can be!

It will take multiple visits with him before he can go home with anyone, but once he warms up to you, you'll have a best friend for life in this handsome guy. We'd also require a meet and greet with any other dogs in a potential home. Caesar requests there are no cats or small children in his home so he doesn't accidentally knock them over or play too rough due to his size and energy. Caesar is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, flea-treated and dewormed.

3.

4.

Meet the Pet

This may be done before applying. You'll be asked to sign an adoption contract and to make a certain donation amount, rather than a set fee.

Additional adoption info

We are passionate about pairing animals in need with loving families who would best suit their individual needs. NOTE: You do not have to apply for a specific animal on your application. You can submit it as a "pre-application" for a certain size, age or breed of animal, and if approved, we can contact you if a possible match arrives at the shelter.
