GOOD BOY SEMI IS A COURTESY POST FOR SECOND CHANCE ANIMAL RESCUE Semi will be 8 years old in September, he is a Pit Bull, and a big strong guy, at 68 pounds. We are looking for a home with older children, ideally over 13 years old, due to his size and strength. He is a very gentle boy, but when he gets to running around or gets excited small kids could get knocked over very easily. He is not dog-aggressive but is dog selective and because of this, we are looking for a home with no other dogs. (this also means no dog parks, dog daycares, or doggy friends for this guy!) He will also need a home with no cats, he does like to chase them too much! He likes to go for walks, car rides, and play with toys, but you'll find him snoozing on the couch most of the time.â€‹He is housebroken and crate trained. He even puts himself to sleep at night in his crate around 9:30 p.m., usually with a stuffed toy. He loves to be with his human and will give tons of kisses. He loves to snuggle up close on the couch or in bed at night. We would prefer for him to go into a home with a fenced-in backyard, he loves being outside playing, napping, and lounging in sun. He does have a sensitive stomach and does require special food that can be found at most pet stores or ordered online from Amazon or Chewy. The adoption fee is $150, this dog is current on age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea prevention.
