Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hans is an active and energetic 6-year-old cat. He’s a tall boy with a striking face. Hans spent several months with his foster family and really bonded with the foster dad in the house; laying on his lap while watching TV and sleeping close by. If you work from home, be prepared to share your workspace with a loving, furry friend. Hans also made friends with a fun and dominant resident cat who loved playing "chase around the house" at full speed.
Hans loves playtime, treats and meal time. Sometimes he gets so excited for meals that he will bat at your feet to hurry you up. He also likes: head scratches, toys, catnip, sunshine and his cat tree. Hans does not care for being carried around, rushed to do things, or loud noises. When first introduced to a new home, Hans will hide out and survey his new domain. But when he’s comfortable, he is out and about asking for attention, watching his family as well as his world from a high vantage point or a comfy chair. He is reliable using the litter box; but because he’s a larger cat we recommend large litter boxes.
Hans is a wonderful cat who is looking for a patient owner/family who is willing to work with him to feel safe, comfortable and loved. Then he will warm right up to you.
