YUZU
Pitbull blend, 3 years old, 56 lbs.
What can we say about this beautiful girl? She is sweet and LOVES to be with her people. Yuzu would prefer not to be left alone, though will go into a crate, but does not enjoy it. Possibly, with time and patience, she will overcome this hurdle.
Yuzu does well with other dogs, after slow introductions, but isn't great with cats! She walks well on leash and is OK off leash, as well.
This girl is pretty much a big puppy. She knows the command “sit”, and is treat motivated, making her very capable of soaking up all the training you provide. She will definitely need someone who can make the time to really dial in her manners.
Yuzu is pretty submissive and a little shy. With a gentle transition, it only takes her a little bit to warm up to new environments and people.
Potty training is positive for Yuzu. In new home environments she will quickly pick up the outdoor potty routine, with proper guidance and encouragement.
We recommend a home with children over the age of 10 years old. Yuzu does get excited, jumpy, and “mouthy” when she’s happy.
This girl is a “diamond in the rough”, with a lot of LOVE to give. She will be a great dog for someone able to offer her the time she needs to adjust.

Distemper/Parvo boosters, Rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.
Wiggly Tails Dog Rescue is following COVID guidelines. We are limiting the number of people in our building, and require everyone to wear a mask. We are conducting one Meet and Greet at a time in our office, and allowing for time to sanitize the office between Meet and Greets for everyone's safety.
Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.
