My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Leia" is one of the funniest dogs you will ever meet! Now that she's feeling better her personality is really coming out.
What we know about "Leia" so far:
She loves to play, loves toys, does zoomies, is really cuddly, loves walks, car rides, loves her Aunt Kathy, loves her foster Mom and Dad, her foster siblings, and Aunt Megan (that's me).
"Leia" struggles when meeting new people. Making eye contact with a stranger makes her anxious and she gets growly. We are working with her, trying to change her negative association with strangers. We don't know what she went through before. She is really treat motivated which is helping her begin to see strangers as human "Pez" dispensers.
"Leia" is ready for her own home. She will need patience as she learns to trust humans. No young kids please. She is an awesome girl and her adopter will love her sass!
"Leia is 5 years old, super smart, knows sit and shake, is housebroken, loves small dogs, seems ok with cats and weighs 36 pounds. She has had surgery to repair her fractured femor and has been completely vetted. Her skin is already so much better and is being treated with Cytopoint, a monthly allergy injection.
