Meet Scooter!

Scooter is a sweet 11 year old gentleman, weighs in around 10 lbs, and is seeking a home where he can shower his family with kisses and all the love in his little heart.

Scooter is a very loyal boy, adores sleeping at the foot of the bed and on his foster mom's feet wherever she is in the home, and follows his person around everywhere! Scooter would do best in a home where his person is home all the time as he suffers from separation anxiety when left alone.

Scooter is in pretty good health but does suffer from a cough due to some trachea issues, but no medication is required at this time. His foster mom thinks he’s mostly deaf, but he does hear clapping!

Scoot is territorial and would do best in a home that knows how to handle a dog with guarding issues. He’s potty trained if kept on a solid schedule and hates being crated.

He is neutered, UTD on shots, HW neg and on HW prevention.

His adoption donation is $300.00.

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.

Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.

Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
