Description: DMH Black
Gender: Male

My name is The Black Knight. You can tell by my sweet face that I’m a lover, not a fighter. While I love to run and play with other cats and kittens, and perform great leaps and jumps for you, when I get tired, I love to lie next to you on the couch and reward your affection with loud purring. My favorite show is the bird and bug show, which I watch on the screened-in porch every chance I get. I'm still a little shy and will need some extra time acclimating to a new family. I hope my forever family will be patient with me while I get to know them. I love to spoon with you at night. If you sleep with your arm around me, I will look up at you adoringly. One of my favorite pastimes is to hang out with and watch TV or help you read a book. Sometimes I like to sit on your lap, while other times I like to snuggle next to you in a comfy chair. I also like to sleep on your desk to keep you company while you work. I’d love to live with another cat to love and cuddle. However, I will require several days to get used to other cats. I’ll be growly and grumpy for a few days but after that, we usually become best friends!

A good Samaritan asked us to take The Monty Python and the Holy Grail kittens and their stray mom. Their mother has since been spayed.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
