My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gentle Zoe is a bit shy, but she is responding well to attention and affection. She is learning to walk on a leash, but she sometimes flops down and needs to be carried because she gets too nervous. Once she warms up to you she will wag her tail and lick your hand, but it sometimes takes a little bit to see that happy relaxed girl. Zoe is a one year old lab mix and weighs just 34 lbs.

Zoe loves playing with toys. She does well with other dogs, and it may help her feel more confident if she goes into a family with another dog. She has not been around cats.

Zoe is one of those dogs that we just don’t know a lot about her background, but we know it must have been hard on her because she was so timid when rescued. Once she adjusts to her surroundings she gains confidence.

A loving, patient family will do well with Zoe. We don’t have a lot of kid info regarding Zoe and we think that very little kids would be too much for her.
