Hi! I’m Dallas 🐾 my foster mom tells me all the time that it’s a good thing I’m pretty bc I’m a piece of work, whatever that means. But she also said I’ve come a long way from being taken out of a difficult situation, and that someone has to earn my trust to be my owner. A strong leader with an Aussie/herding-breed experienced home would be ideal, and a meet & greet before adoption is mandatory.
Anyways, once I’m bonded to my people I have pretty good recall off leash and don’t wander far, especially if you have a tennis ball for me. Also, I don’t think there should be any stuffing in toys, I take pride in ripping them apart. The water hose is really fun, but watch your hands when I try to catch the water! I can be a little mouthy at times, whoops, so if there are any kids in the home they must be dog savvy teenagers.
My foster mom said I’m super smart: I know lots of tricks and can learn lots more! Sit, stay, lie down, shake, roll over, circles, and I even wait to eat my food until she says “OK!”
I have tons of Aussie energy, and love to chase tennis balls + frisbees. I would love to have a female dog companion, my foster sister is so much fun!! If not, that’s okay I would probably do fine by myself! I don’t seem to be as good of friends with other male dogs, but I could possibly make an exception with time. Oh, and no cats please unless you want me to chase them all day (that’s pretty fun too!)
