My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HISTORY:  JUNIPER was surrendered to SFAS when his owner passed away in 2020.  He was subsequently adopted only to be returned when he was diagnosed with early diabetes.   We believe he was fed only dry food, which likely caused the diabetes.
TEMPERAMENT:  JUNIPER is a sweet and social cat, who gets along with other cats.   He is easy to test glucose and administer insulin.    Given his age, we are hoping that over time with a low-carb wet food diet, he will go into remission.
AGE:   born approx. 4/4/16
MICROCHIP #:  981020031600833
DATE OF STERILIZATION: unknown
VAX RECORD:  FVRCP #1: 8/15/22;  FVRCP expires: 8/15/24; Rabies expires: 08/15/25
FELV/FIV test:  4/13/20; neg {IFA]

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  JUNIPER is currently eating Wellness Turkey and Fussie Cat [non-fish] canned food and getting a small dose of Vetsulin every 12 hours.

ADOPTION FEE: $100
