My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fred looks like he just lost his best friend, and perhaps he did -- he is, afterall, at the shelter where he arrived as a lost dog on April 3. However, he is quite playful and sweet once he gets outdoors. Fred knows "sit" but hasn't been leash trained. He is about 3 years old and weighs 44 pounds. He has not been neutered yet, but will see the vet soon. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be heartworm tested and mircrochipped upon adoption. Come meet him in Run 880 and put a smile on his face using ID#628136.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
