My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Pea's name fits her so well -- she is a sweetheart, but very scared right now. She came into the shelter on April 10; the person who brought her in said she was given to him, but he could no keep her. She's beautiful and young, but knows all her commands, so she's ready to find a family that loves her. She is about 1.5 years old and weighs 42 pounds. She has not been spayed yet, but the vet will see her soon. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be heartworm tested and microchipped upon adoption. Come meet her in the Small Dog/Puppy Room in Cage 302 using ID#628256.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
