My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jerri is a timid, yet friendly girl that LOVES her human(s)... never too far from you.

I am the Queen at my Foster's Home during the night....then I sleep during the day in her bedroom.

Her LOVING personality is just as big as those BIG beautiful green eyes.

She will need your patience and a small amount of time to warm up to you. She needs to feel safe with you first. Once she does, she will give the best nose bops EVER and will be a great companion!

She will happily find her favorite spot at night curling up with you in bed or sitting perched on the back of the sofa looking over your shoulder. She likes to stay close to her human.

She prefers a quiet home as loud noises startle her – NO young children…older children ONLY.

She needs to be the only cat – she wants ALL of your attention. She will attack female and male cats.

She tolerates dogs - she is not a fan of them. This introduction must be done slowly and employ the proper techniques for a cat to dog introduction. The adoption counselor will provide information and methods and guidance to help you.

While Jerri has her quirks and foibles, do not let these DETER you from adopting her. When you adopt her, you WILL NEVER EVER need another cat. She will provide all the LOVE and attention you will need...your study and movie buddy...your one and only mate.

Best to introduce her to your home in a quiet room (your bedroom will be ideal!) where she can build her confidence and spend quality time with you while she adjusts to your lifestyle. She can demonstrate her bed manners with you!

Jerri enjoys playing chase with her toys, sitting in the sun and being brushed. She needs some activity as she gained a few pounds...she has started a restricted meal plan.

Jerri is currently in foster care. Text / call the the foster, Jonette, directly at 757.515.4147. Do not send an email using the Adoptapet platform.
