My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Money. This is not his first trip to the shelter. It seems this very, very sweet and calm 2 year old boy just cannot find an owner who will keep him safe. Money originally came to the shelter as a lost boy on January 20. Although he has a micro-chip his family did not come for him when contacted. Money was very patient while he waited for a new person to love him, never made a sound, perfect guest in the shelter. He thought he found that person when he was adopted on 03/05 but again it was not meant to be. Money came back to the shelter once again on 04/06 as a lost boy and his family did not come. You will not find a sweeter boy. Sits when told, takes treats so gently, is great on leash, etc. Just such a good boy. Money is current on vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped. He tested negative for heart worms on his last visit but will be tested again upon adoption. Money is waiting in run 52 and his ID# is 628191. Can you be his lucky charm?
Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
