About Me:

Hi! My name is JoJo!
As you can see from my photo, I’m a spunky old gal.
I am an approximately 12 year old spayed female French Bulldog Mix. I weigh approximately 25 pounds.

I’m mostly blind and deaf but I love naps, snacks, and chasing sunbeams! I was available for adoption for well over a year; and while everyone posted about how much they loved me, I never got one application to adopt me! Since my arrival, I’m now Heartworm negative. Unfortunately I had a couple masses pop back up after surgical removal. They’re not cancerous but they do cause bleeding issues. I know I have a lot of needs but I think I’m a great catch! It’s ok, I’m loving life here at the sanctuary. I have a special raw diet and I lots of supplements and Chinese herbs to help me feel my best. If you’d like to make a donation towards my ongoing care, I would very much appreciate it. I’m still here loving life because of donations and support from people like you!

Our adoption application can be found on our website. This is the first step in the adoption process. We follow up with each application with a phone interview and home visit to get to know you better and match you with the right dog. All information regarding the application process and our fees can be found our website.

We are a completely foster home based rescue so we do not have a facility for people to come see all of our dogs. However we have several events each month where you can come and meet our available dogs. Please follow our Facebook page or visit our website for upcoming Meet & Greet events!

Founded in 2017, Hoosier Bulldog Rescue (HBR) is a group of volunteers dedicated to helping English and French Bulldogs in the Indianapolis area. We accept bulldogs from animal shelters, puppy mills/breeder situations, as well as directly from families who are unable to provide a home to their bulldog.
