My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Though Nikko shows a bit of hesitancy when first meeting new people and pets, it truly only takes him minutes before he is ready to be his goofy self.

While he is treat motivated, his even more motivated by a person with a fetch ball in hand. He LOVES to play fetch--- any time, any day, he's game.

Nikko is more of the submissive type and truly thrives around other dogs who take a leadership role, but are also playful and non-aggressive.

We also feel that he could thrive in a home in which he is the only dog, as long as he is provided with ample play time as it is in his nature to run, jump and play chase.

He is an EXCELLENT walking or jogging buddy, house trained, knows basic commands, is kennel trained and has plenty of practice politely staying on his own bed at night.
