Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Georgia is a 5+ year old female Bloodhound who was transferred to us from a shelter where she was found as a stray. She arrived in very poor condition, she was emaciated, had many lumps and blood tests showed she is Lyme positive.
Georgia has had all the lumps surgically removed and all were non cancerous growths, we have also been treating her with antibiotics for Lyme. She is doing well and is a really perky and happy dog.
She is a very sweet and affectionate dog who loves to be with people, will curl up on a comfy bed beside the people she loves, which is everyone. Georgia ignores the other dogs here but does not appreciate when they come near her feeding area, so she would be best as the only dog in the home. She also is a squirrel chaser and has a prey drive, so a home with no cats as well. Georgia pulls a bit on leash but that is the hound in her, she's very excited to go for a walk. Georgia would like a home with a fenced in yard, a bloodhound will follow their nose, so it must be a secure yard. She also can be vocal when she wants your attention so an apartment or condo so not suitable. Georgia is a large and clumsy girl and we prefer she be placed in a home with no small children. ( 9+ years of age)
Georgia is spayed, treated for parasites, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
