My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is a black and white, 19-pound Eskipoo born 6/16/19. He is a very sweet, energetic boy that loves attention and has a playful, mischievous side. Prior to rescue, he was a country boy, running along the highways and byways like a wild child so he is still somewhat shy with new people and new situations. Since he has not been around children he should not be considered for homes with young children. He is now good on a leash, good in the car, and gets along well with other dogs. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. Toby is currently being fostered in Arkansas. His adoption donation is $610 which includes the $155 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Toby, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.
Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
