Cyrus is a 6 month old handsome puppy made of midnight velveteen with long, long legs, and a long waggy whip of a tail to match! He is looking for a experienced adopter who can continue his training and help him grow into the best fur companion. In new surroundings, Cyrus lacks confidences and can become overwhelmed easily. He will let you know he is uncomfortable by show fear related behavior. This will require a adopter that can provide him structure and routine. Cyrus loves to please his people and does well the treat training. He knows his name, responds well with voice correction and positive redirection. After playtime and eating he will need someone to pay attention to his water intake. He loves his water to the point of obsession. He does great with other dogs but does need slow and proper introductions meeting new dogs. He is not a fan when other dogs charge at him or get in his face. W hen Cyrus is tired and ready to nap, he likes to lay in a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of active play. As with toddlers he becomes cranky without his nap. Since Cyrus is a sensitive boy he would be happiest in a adult only home. One of the best things about Cyrus, he loves to smile. He will give you the biggest teethy smile if you have been gone for just a few minutes. He loves his people and is very playful. Cyrus is working on sleeping through the night and currently gets up once per night to go out to potty. He is very good at letting you know when its potty time. Cyrus is also leash and crate trained, with some basic puppy manners as well. Cyrus is a sweet and shy boy with a lot to offer if given the change and the right family.
