My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meghan is looking for her forever home!

Meghan is a 5-year-old female Bulldog that was lingering at the Arizona Humane Society without an outlet. This was due to a 3 lb mammary mass that needed medical attention. We brought her to our vet partner at VCA Hospital who removed the mass. Meghan is now ready to find a loving home to spend the rest of her life.

Meghan is a HUGE PEOPLE LOVER! She absolutely adores her person and wants nothing more than to snuggle with you. There isn’t a person who has met her that doesn’t immediately fall in love! 😍 She is an amazing dog that deserves an equally amazing home.

Meghan is an energetic girl and can be quite the clown! She might be too overwhelming for very young children. She seems to be okay when meeting dogs on leash, but can be picky with the dogs she lives with. Therefore, she will need a meet and greet with any dog in the adopter’s household. We do not know if she likes cats.

Meghan had a 3 pound mammary mass surgically removed. There is no indication from chest x-rays, bloodwork or from the lymph node analysis that there is any metastasis (spread to other parts of the body). We believe the surgical procedure has removed the cancer and now that she is spayed, it should help to reduce any recurrence. It is recommended that Meghan have follow up exams every three months or so to make sure she stays a healthy girl.

Meghan is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Medical records are provided at adoption.
