My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Salem and Hops!

Salem is a sweet, affectionate, loving cat. He prefers to lounge during the day and soaking up as much sun as he can from the comfiest spot on the couch. While he can be leery of people at first, he’s definitely not afraid or anti-social once he’s had time to adjust to a new environment. Salem is always the first one to greet foster mom when she comes down the stairs and doesn’t shy away from adults and older kids. Salem will play with toys and other cats occasionally, but mostly plays with Hops. He is curious with the big dogs in his foster home and routinely tries to sneak upstairs to find them. He did not enjoy the small dogs he was introduced to. Moderate activity level, prefers a quiet environment but will tolerate moderate noise levels. Salem uses the litterbox and will use the scratching posts provided.

Color: Black with three white toes on his back feet, white fur like a tux on his chest and a slight bit of white fur on his belly. Green eyes.

Hops is also a sweet and loving boy, but definitely requires a quieter home and his buddy Salem. He took several days to come out of hiding when he arrived in foster care and can still be timid around new people. Once he learns to trust you, he will soak up all the affection and head scratches he can get! Hops loves to play with his brother Salem and does play rough. When giving him affection, he will gently bite at your hand or try to grab your hand with his paws. Tends to get bullied around by other cats, but can be in a home with other submissive cats. No dogs.

Color: Black with a small amount of white on his chest. Has white patches of fur on his belly that looks like a bikini. Green eyes.

Both boys have been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Their Foster Mom thinks these two are litter mates. While Salem may be okay on his own, Hops definitely needs Salem and must be adopted with him!
