My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Munchie and her sister, Tangie (also posted), were two shop cats that came to PAWS after the shop owner unfortunately passed away. Their family contacted PAWS to help find these two sweet affectionate cats a loving forever home.

Munchie is a sweet kitty who loves to play and chase balls around the house and goad her “sister” into playing as well. When she isn’t trying to chase down her favorite crinkly ball she’s either soaking up some sun in front of the windows or laying right next to her favorite person occasionally asking for some cuddles.

Muchie is also a little goofball and constantly has her tongue sticking out, but don’t worry she doesn’t drool she just looks adorable!

Munchie was a little shy when she was first introduced to her new foster home, hiding behind the toilet wondering what was going on. But as soon as her foster mom gave her a few pets right behind her ears she was eager for love and constantly asking for pets and cuddles.

She loves being around her favorite people and having them play with her either with fancy cat toys or just a simple shoelace and toilet paper tube. Munchie also adores sitting next to her foster mom when her foster mom is working and just curls up and waits for her cuteness to overcome her foster mom's need to get work done (which happens frequently). Even if her foster mom is too busy to pay much attention to her, Munchie is also content to relax and in front of the window or play by herself with any toys or boxes laying around. She has never once scratched her sister or foster mom and is very nice even when she’s being picked up too many times by her foster.

Sadly, Munchie does have a condition called FIV but, as the vet explained, this condition won’t affect her lifespan as long as she’s safely kept indoors and away from unknown cats. She also won’t infect any other cats with this condition unless she bites them, but she has no history of being aggressive even when manhandled.

Overall Munchie is a curious, goofy and sweet kitty that would be happy in a home that has plenty of love and affection to give. She would do well in a home either as the only cat or with other playful and friendly cats. She’s also very nice to young humans, as her previous owners had a young grandson that would often play with her as well. Munchie is incredibly endearing with her tongue always sticking out and always ready to butt her head up against her favorite humans and purr the day away.
