My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tangie and her “sister”, Munchie (also posted), were two shop cats that came to PAWS after the shop owner unfortunately passed away. Their family contacted PAWS to help find these two sweet affectionate cats a loving forever home.

Tangie is the older “sister” and prefers to be relaxed and observe the world around her over chasing balls and playing. She spends much of her day watching the world outside of her favorite window or stealing her foster mom’s chair and watching her human do things around the house. Though Tangie is a very relaxed cat, she has a strict petting schedule that she adheres to: 10 minutes of cuddling every morning, pets right after her foster mom comes home from any outing, and cuddles right before bed every night. She loves cuddling up under peoples arms and rubbing herself all over the arms and legs of her foster mom.

When Tangie first arrived at her foster home she was very shy and unsure about the situation but as soon as she was fed a little food and given a few pets she was happy to explore the house and quickly found the best perch to stare out the window from. She’s an adorable kitty with a quirky personality that makes her foster mom laugh all the time.

Tangie doesn’t mind other cats but isn’t very interested in playing with them too often. Mostly, she prefers observing the world around her, but does show some interest in playing with shoelaces and crinkly toys occasionally. On the whole she’s a very sweet kitty that likes to be emotionally independent but still loves interaction and pets at certain times of the day.

Tangie is a very sweet kitty and has never once even attempted to bite or scratch her foster mom but can hiss or swat at her “sister” when Munchie gets too in her face. Tangie would do very well being the only cat in the household, but would do fine with other cats as long as they aren’t too rambunctious. She would be best suited for a house without children as she prefers a quiet environment without too many loud noises.

Tangie is overall a very loveable kitty that would make an exceptional companion for someone who likes a quiet and calm lifestyle.

Approx. birth date: 3/2013
