Arctic is all dressed up hoping to spend the Memorial Day Weekend with a new family that will love and care for him forever. This boy had a pretty rough start and spent the majority of his life not only chained to his crate but also zapped with a shock collar when he was not perfectly obedient.  Although his life before we rescued him was grim, he still has a playful spirit, aims to please and is a lovebug when he gets to know his people and feels he can trust them.  Arctic is absolutely beautiful and with a confident leader and training to build his confidence and trust, he will be an absolutely amazing dog; he just needs a little extra love and TLC.

Arctic thinks kitty cats are too sassy and young children are too complicated for his liking.  Arctic will do best in a cat free home with children over the age of  15.  He likes to play with larger more submissive dogs because he thinks he is king of his castle after we rescued him from the chain where he spent most of his life; he is seizing his freedom from the chain!

The perfect home for Arctic would be a single dog home or home with another submissive medium-large sized dog, no children or cats and with a loving owner willing to spend extra time gaining Arctic's trust and building his confidence.
