Lobo Solitario (Lone Wolf) is the sweetest 3-4 yr old Great Pyr X Husky mix boy once he trusts you. He currently trusts his fosters and is so snuggly with them and devoted. He has had a VERY hard life from abuse from whomever owned him previously he never knew what love was until the rescue took him in after he was found shot back in August 2020. Lobo had to wait to have surgery because the infection was so bad, his wound even had maggots in it the vet said. ? Lobo is also heartworm positive but had such a bad reaction to his first heartworm injection we opted to finish out with slow kill method, which the rescue will be providing. He will take treats from strangers but does not go up to them willingly for affection. To say he has had a hard 3yrs of life is an understatement!! The adopter should not have children or many visitors. Lobo is 85lbs who would enjoy a calm, quiet life. If anyone knows of the perfect home within a 2hr radius of Lyles, TN that has patience and will give our sweet boy the time to adjust please let us know! He is good with big & small female dogs. Prefers small male dogs to bigger males. NOT good with cats. He is quiet and aloof just like his name implies. Even though he only has 3 legs he enjoys short hikes and car rides. He is fully vetted, microchipped and up for adoption through the Hickman Humane-Society
