My story

Hank is a the most loving dog we have ever met -- he is happiest when he is sitting right at your feet, or his head is in your lap, or he is literally trying to sit on your lap (we joke that he's a tiny lap dog trapped in a large dog body). He wants to be near his family at all times, and hates when he can't be near us. He is happy to lay around, but also loves to go on walks and get exercised. He has been so wonderful with our first dog, two cats, and a newborn-now-toddler. We got him in August 2018 to keep our first dog company when we were working long hours, and they have always played together so well. We unfortunately don't have the capacity, with another baby on the way, to give Hank the love and attention he wants and needs. He would do best in a home where the owner(s) want a completely devoted and loving dog, and would do well on his own, or to add companionship to other animals or children.
