Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hans and Ivy Louise! They are extremely bonded and we would love for them to find their FORever home together!
Hans is a handsome, blue merle, Great Dane. He is a very sweet boy, who can be a bit shy until he gets to know you. He loves to play and go on walks, as long as Ivy Louise can go too. He is crate and house trained. Hans does well with other dogs, but Ivy Louise is his favorite! They even crate together when unattended. Without Ivy Louise, Hans is quite insecure.
Ivy Louise is a super sweet, blue, Great Dane who loves attention. Her favorite place to be is next to her person. She loves to play and can be a little mischievous. Ivy Louise will eat ANYTHING left within her reach. INCLUDING non food items such as clothes, tissues, dish towels, shoes, etc. She needs a family willing to be vigilant to keeping her surroundings obstacle free, and utilize a crate when she is left unattended, for her safety.
A family with prior Great Dane experience would be ideal, but not mandatory. Hans and Ivy Louise do well with most other dogs, given a proper introduction. They both love kids but will do best in a home with children over 8 years old, simply due to their size. If you think Hans and Ivy Louise would be the perfect addition to your family, please complete an application at www.forrescue.net. Hans and Ivy Louise are located in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Friends of Rescue does require a home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. ALL FRIENDS OF RESCUE DOGS ARE INDOOR PETS.
