Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in the presence of royalty? Well, let us introduce you to princess Mimi, the ruler of all she surveys.
Mimi is a beautiful 2 year old, 6.5 lb chihuahua that was rescued by CRT from a hoarding situation where she and her siblings had no rules and were allowed to run and rule the house.
Mimi is truly a ONE PERSON kind of girl! She bonds very heavily to her hooman, and all other minions are only acceptable when they come bearing edible offerings. And when the minions wear out their welcome, Mimi is on their heels reminding them not to dawdle or they might get a pull on their pant legs.
Mimi does enjoy playing with her hooman, but mostly ignores her canine companions in regards to play unless they convince her that chase is a fun game. Mimi does best with dogs her size or bigger as she prefers a disinterested or chill companion as part of her court.
Mimi is a true snuggler and is happiest when sitting on the couch with her person. Mimi is working hard at accepting minions in her palace and would do best with a hooman who can continue to help her understand the benefits others can bring to her realm.
Mimi is a pro at using pee pads in the house and working on routinely going outside to use the facilities. If the weather is not acceptable, she will quickly rebel and head for the nearest pad. She is a GREAT walker, no issues with the leash! When left loose within the house with her foster siblings, she does great and exhibits no signs of anxiety when her foster mom leaves.
Mimi was born with “bowed legs” due to a mutation in the gene. This in NO way stops Mimi from walking, jumping or running around in the yard. She also has an issue with urinary incontinence, that thankfully is controlled with medication and she seldom exhibits any issues with that now.
She is spayed, UTD on shots, HW neg and on HW prevention.
Her adoption donation is $300.00.
If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below.
To submit an application go here……chihuahua-rescue.com/adoption-application/
An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
