At this time our adoptions are by SAME DAY appointment only. On the day (Tue-Sat) you're interested in meeting one of these animals, please call 360-352-2510 to make an appointment. (We start answering the phones at 8 AM.) Due to COVID-19 restrictions, walk-ins are not permitted so we can maintain social distancing requirements.
To learn more about the breed(s) of this dog, please go to your favorite search engine and type the breed(s) and 'rescue.'
The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DHPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), and Strongid (wormer).
Ion is a four year old labrador retriever type dog who was surrendered because her previous family was moving. She is extremely shy and anxious here in the shelter and would need someone who will understand her needs and be patient with her. We would recommend a quiet household for her to be her happiest and are asking that she meets any other dogs in the household before adoption.
We try to keep our list of available animals up to date, but some may be placed in adoption or adopted out faster than we can get them updated online. We recommend stopping by the Shelter to see who is currently available whenever you’re in the area.
If you'd like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services' website. We will need the animal's number (we have it listed as the name) in order to look up the animal.
“Adoption Pending” means someone is in the process of adopting this pet, but has not yet completed the requirements. Please check back later to see if the animal is available, as we cannot accept reserve applications.
