4 yr old Berkley is a beautiful black-tri Aussie who is your typical “velcro” dog. Wherever you are, he will lay beside you. He will smile when you talk to him and wiggle his whole body. He knows “sit’, but with his wiggly bottom he does not sit for long!
He is very playful and affectionate and eager to please his people. He will run around and play with other dogs but prefers to be with his human for butt rubs.

Berkley is great with other dogs, and humans young or old. He is housetrained, crate trained (though very well behaved when left alone) and shows no food aggression. He didn’t even mind his bath and grooming to remove his mats. He is not very familiar with toys but will chase cats if they run. He will also chase deer, turkey and geese in the backyard. His foster family has an acreage where he loves to run and explore. He comes when called and never wanders far from foster mom’s side. Berkley walks well on a leash and loves car rides. Foster mom describes him as a medium energy boy.

Berkley is up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventatives. He is scheduled for his neuter and microchip placement soon, then will be available for adoption to his loving forever home. He is being fostered in Cedar Rapids, IA. His adoptive family must be able/willing to travel to Cedar Rapids to meet him.
