Hello everyone my name is Aspen
I am a handsome 6-7m old deaf pitbull mix, I am a small build but have a big heart. Calm, respectful and with great manners, I am a real heart melter. You wouldn’t believe I have any impairment with how I traverse life with confidence and walk beautifully on a leash.
I was found covered in mud and dirt by a good samaritan over a month ago in the middle of the street eating scraps with cars dodging me. Sadly I couldn’t hear them to know how scary they were and should be avoided. Luckily this kind lady saw me and immediately swooped me up and saved me. She has been having me stay with her and my big Great Dane foster sister who is helping teach me the ropes of home life.
I am very well mannered, knowing basic commands and love to play and wrestle with my fur buddy and then fall asleep in my peoples arms on the couch while they watch TV. Im both potty trained and crate trained. Because I can’t hear you, you will need to learn and understand how to get my attention by hand signals, I am already learning sign language and know how to sit and stay. Because I cannot hear for recall, any applicant must have a safely fenced in yard for me to play in.
